Ms. Holly Young-May, Clarmarian

I fell in love with the Cavalier King Charles many years ago in 1985, while on holiday in Great Britain. Walking through the Mermaid Inn in Rye, Sussex, I spotted a Cavalier lounging at the feet of a British couple. It was love at first sight! Shortly after, I had my first Cavalier, then my second. My love for this lovely elegant dog became a passion. I had no idea what an important part of my life they would become.

I began showing in 2007 and had my first litter in 2011. From this litter I produced three AKC Grand Champions, two CKCSC USA champions, and the 2014 CKCSC USA National Specialty Best in Show winner, AKC GCH, CKCSC USA CH Clarmarian Kiss and Cry. Since then, I have produced numerous AKC champions and Grand Champions.

I have been president of Cavaliers of the Midwest, and currently serve as the Midwest secretary. I am a member of the Board of Directors of the CKCSC USA.

I am excited to now turn my attention back to the dogs, through participating in the CKCSC USA Judges training program.

To support my Cavalier passion, I am owner of, and principle designer for Interiors by Holly, LLC, a Shaker Heights, Ohio Interior Design firm, specializing in high end residential and commercial design. I have worked with clients both locally and in Palm Beach, Washington DC, Manhattan, The Hamptons, London, and Zurich.
